Why photography?
Photography to Rust Belt Artistry is a way to capture an emotion, a feeling, a moment in time. Being able to look at a photo is being able to pause for a moment, transport yourself to somewhere different than where your feet currently are, stop for a second and reflect. This is what photography means to RBA. It is a way to slow down, look at something and take a small moment to remember that not everything has to be such a rush.
Why we love it.
Photography allows for RBA to curate the most focused pieces of the brand. Photography is so unique in its ability to only show what you want to show. To be able to focus on something incredibly small, or something extremely large. It allows for the person taking the photo to truly guide the viewer in any direction that they so please. Exploring this form of creativity takes a significant amount of skill. To be able to pull emotions through still photography, play on nostalgia, make the viewer feel something powerful. Photography is truly the way to express something that words just cannot.
