A custom piece of art can mean the world to someone. It comes from the heart, and only you can know what they want the most. Let me make the perfect piece for you or that special someone. I am beyond excited to make you an amazing piece that you will love.
What to Expect // Pricing
Pricing: All custom orders will have slight variations in price depending on size of the piece, level of detail, length of quotes, etc.
An initial deposit of approximately 50% of the custom piece will be required when ordering anything Custom.
A sketch of the order will be submitted via email to verify the design concept for approval before the piece is produced. (Please be sure to provide an email address to be contacted through)
The final ~ 50% ~ will be required to be paid before any custom piece is shipped.
Pieces can be ordered on a wooden “Cookie” (Round) or a wooden “Board” (Rectangle).
If you would like color added to your piece be sure to provide that information in your order form. Watercolor Pens/Markers are used to add color to the wood after being burned and before the piece is sealed - see below for examples of that technique.
Display types
Rust Belt Artistry is currently providing three options for the display of your custom piece. You will see these terms throughout the site and on forms so please familiarize yourself with them and understand how your piece is being designed with it’s display in mind.
Velcro command strips
This Display Type option will be placed on the back of any custom order allowing the piece to be affixed to a wall flush mounted. The Velcro allows for it to be removed from the wall and moved without the need to replace the strips on the back of your custom piece. The wall mounted sides will need to be replaced if you desire to move it, but RBA will provide the first set ready to be hung.
Art stand
This Display Type option will allow you to stand your piece upright sitting on the art stand. The best place for this would be on a entry way table, an entertainment center, a shelf, etc. The stand will need to be sitting somewhere sturdy and not a place that can get ran into. Your custom piece will not be affixed to this stand. This also allows for you to pick it up and move it with ease.
Rope hang
This Display Type option will affix small hooks to the back of your piece and then a rope will be tied to those two elements. This will create a single point to hang any piece with from the top and center. The rope will be longer and higher than the top of the piece to allow for it to fully hang and be flush with the wall so you will see the rope when it is hung. Please consider this when ordering this type of display.

Everything you will see below are examples of previous orders or one of a kind pieces I have created. When you find what you are looking for, the Contact page is where you can reach out to start this process of getting a custom piece done! Please be as detailed as possible on the form to make sure we create exactly what you are looking for!
coasters
Coasters will start at 2 for $20, 4 for $40, or 6 for $60. The initial deposit will be $10, $20, or $30.
bookmarks
Bookmarks will start at 2 for $20, 4 for $40, or 6 for $60. The initial deposit will be $10, $20, or $40.
skylines
City Skylines will start at $40. The initial deposit will be $20.
Quote Boards
Quote Boards will start at $40. The initial deposit will be $20.
Art boards
Art Boards will start at $40. This category of custom work will vary in price significantly more than the other categories depending on the content of what is ordered. These have the most opportunity for creativity and freedom based on their blank canvas style. Please understand that if something complex is ordered the price will fluctuate based on an hourly rate of an additional $20/hr additional for this category. The initial deposit will be $20.
frames
Frames will start at $50. The initial deposit will be $25.
Name PLates
Name Plates will start at $50. The initial deposit will be $25.
Cards
Cards will start at $15 each or 2 for $40. The initial deposit will be $10
These cards have blank backs that can be filled out to say what ever you would like! Wish someone a happy birthday with a custom card filled with artwork of things they love, wish your mom a happy mothers day with her favorite flowers drawn on the front, the possibilities are endless!
artwork // Graphic design
This category will require more collaboration and consultation than the rest of the categories above. For this reason you will only be able to reach out via email for these to start the process rather than purchasing something from the store! Please fill out the form below and we can begin the process of making you the piece you are looking for!
Artwork // Graphic Design will be priced based on an hourly rate of $20/hr. There will be a consultation phase with each custom order where pricing will be discussed on a per piece basis. Artwork can be on Wood, Paper, Canvas, Drawing Boards, etc. Mostly focusing on Pen & Ink, Watercolor, Colored Pencils, and Marker. Graphic design can be a poster for a party or event, a t-shirt, stickers, a logo, anything you are looking for we can work together to make it!
